The Fruits...

Of our Labors
Hanalei Loves the garden. Well she loves the tomatoes in the garden.
Yum Yum YUM!!
More Please!
Our tomato plant was very fruitful. We shared with our neighbors for many weeks
We also grew green beans and Green Peppers.
We let some of the green peppers stay on long enough to turn into red peppers
of course we had some strawberries.
We also planted cilantro, mint and snow peas.
Gardening has been a real rewarding experience. I know my mother is probably shocked to hear that from me. I never liked it when I was younger. Now what should we plant next? Any thoughts?

I'm so impressed! Have you told my mom about this? She's been trying to grow vegetables in Pupukea for forever.

I haven't talked to your mom. The cilantro got really big and crazy. If you let it get too big it changes in to cumin or something else, so we ripped it up.

Love that you are gardening. It is awesome. Some day I will graduate from pretty flowers to edible stuff. Just not a veggie person - so it's holding me back. When we did garden it was more rewarding for me to leave them on the vine until they got gigantic. That was way more fun then eating them! We had humoungus zuchinni!

Awesome! So glad you are enjoying it! it is so cool to nurture and see something grow that you planted. It's so fun when you get to eat it.
Great job! Beets are easy too and so are radishes, but some people don't like them. They are spicy!

Wow your garden is fantastic!!! Your daughter is so cute. Kenna loves to eat our garden too. But I don't mind. We grow it for her anyways!
