Our Front Yard

wE HAVE BEEN BUSY! mY sUMMER BREAK STARTED ON MONDAY AND i HAVE BEEN SPENDING ALOT OF TIME STUDYING...HAHA. oKAY, i HAVE BEEN SPENDING ALOT OF TIME AT THE BEACH. aLL THIS TIME HAS LEAD ME TO FIND A GREAT TREASURE THAT'S BEEN RIGHT IN FRONT OF MY FACE THIS WHOLE TIME AND i NEVER DISCOVERED IT. itS A BEACH CALLED tHREE tABLES. tHE NAME COMES FROM THE REEF FORMATIONS. tHEY COME OUT OF THE WATER TO FORM TABLE TOPS. wELL THIS IS A FISH PALACE.

tHERE ARE LOTS OF FUN CAVES AND LITTLE ARCHES TO SWIM THROUGH.
tHE OTHER DAY WE WERE OUT WITH OUR FRIENDS nATHAN AND hEBB (HER NAME IS lIZ & SHE SERVED ON TEMPLE SQUARE...LAST NAME WAS hEBB) wE SAW A hUGE tuRTLE! sO FUN! thIS THING WAS WAY OVER 100 YEARS CAUSE IT WAS HUGE. tURTLES ARE SO CHILLED OUT. iTS NO WONDER IN nEMO HOW THEY MAKE THEM ALL "SURFER DUDES". i WAS THINKING THEY JUST SOUNDED HIGH. pOINT BEING IS THAT THEY ARE SO RELAXED IN THE WATER AND LET YOU GET SO CLOSE WITHOUT A CARE.

oN THE SIDE OF THIS BEACH THEY HAVE BIG LAVA ROCKS THAT MAKE TIDE POOLS WITH FUN FISH, URCHINS, HERMIT CRABS, AND SEA CUCUMBERS (SEA SLUGS). tHE ROCKS STAY REALLY WARM BECAUSE THEY ARE BLACK. eVEN AT NIGHT THEY ARE STILL WARM. wE WENT THE OTHER NIGHT TO WATCH THE SUN SET AND THE ROCKS WERE LIKE A HEATED RECLINER. iT LOOKS LIKE rUSTY AND i WILL CONTINUE TO ENJOY ANOTHER FEW YEARS OF OUR HONEYMOON HERE IN hAWAII.

Ok I am so happy for you...What an amazing experience to be able to live in Hawaii, teach in Hawaii, and relax in Hawaii...I LOVE HAWAII. You have no idea. The spirit there is so amazing, I have only been once, but I will never forget it and will always want to be back there as much as possible. My husband just finished his 2nd tri at Chiropractic School here in Iowa. Iowa is ok, it's NOT Hawaii but we are learning lots and having a good experience. I MISS YOU. I think often of the fun times we had as roomates. We need to get a few of us back together soon. Again, I am soooo happy for you. Keep in touch.

How fun! You'll have to let me know where that is. I'd love to go check it out. Sorry we weren't able to do anything this week, I have been sooo sick. But I'm starting to feel better so we should still be on for the barbeque tomorrow.

Hey Three Tables was actually on my list of things we "could" do in Hawaii when we visited. You guys look slike you are totally living it up. Us on the otherside...we busted out out shorts today and had a BBQ because it was a glorious 70 degrees (it has been in the 50's and low 60's). I love the pictures of the turtle. AWESOME. Rusty is a breath holding machine. He must have been a pearl diver in his first life! Can't wait to see you next week. We know we will have fun with you guys coming too!

Okay so bad news. You have probably been wondering why is has been taking me so long to get our addy to you. Well, here comes the BAD, TERRIBLE news... we don't have internet hook up at our place yet. I know, horrible. But right now Ryan and I are at a public library which means now I can finally get it to you. Are you ready? Okay, here it is...

Lala what the heck. I miss you so much! Today was the fourth of July and Ryan and I felt like losers because we don't have any friends yet to do anything with... like BBQ and go to the beach. We are going to have to fix this. Can Rusty PLEASE get a job here?
