sKIM cITY

sO THIS IS WHAT rUSTY AND i DO FOR FUN. I AM SURE YOU HAVE HEARD US TALK ABOUT IT. sOME OF YOU HAVE EVEN SEEN IT. wE ARE TRYING TO GET BETTER. tHE IDEA IS TO SURF THE SHORE BREAK. sOMETIMES WE DO AIR TRICKS TOO. iTS PRETTY FUN ONCE YOU GET PAST THE PART WHERE YOU EAT SAND ALL THE TIME. nOW WE ONLY EAT SAND ONCE IN A WHILE. mUCH BETTER THAT WAY. rIGHT NOW THE WAVES ARE DEPRESSINGLY FLAT. sKIMMING IS PRETTY POPULAR IN cALI AND fLORIDA BUT HASN'T TAKEN OFF OVER HERE IN HAWAII. wHEN WE SEE ANOTHER SKIMMER ITS INSTANT FRIENDSHIP BECAUSE WE ARE A RARE BREED OVER HERE. rUSTY AND i ARE STILL BABIES IN THIS SPORT SOME OF THESE GUYS CAN SHRED THE WAVE UP AND GET BARRELED. itS PRETTY COOL. oNE DAY...WE WILL TOO.

First...Awesome!!!!! You're a blogger now. I can't wait to show the kids when they get home from school. Thankgoodness you don't have interenet phobia:-)
Second...I hope you are careful about kids! Great sport and lots of fun but real dangerous for kiddos playing in the surf. Mine have been personaly run down several times in Cali.

I love skimming! I saw a few people do it there in Hawaii when I was there and Kristen and I tired it once with a bogie board, it came fly out from under me and I hit my bum, ouch. However, this last summer some friends and I stayed at a beach house on the Oregon Coast and one of my friends who is from your stomping grounds of So. Cal brought her skim boards and we skimmed it up. I'm not good, but it was a fun time!

Well what do we have here? WE go visit the Washington wilcox blog and we find a link to Rusty and Lala. Awesome! Love the skim boarding pics, especially the upside down ones. Sus you're pretty crazy and we love you. WE are excited you are bloggin too. Love all your pics. You both look great. Too bad you're stuck in such a dreadful place and we are stuck in Arizona for a while too. Must be tough!!!
